Title : Shaft of the Soulless
Filename : SHAFT29.BSP
Author : Alan Troup
Email Address : Alan_Troup@novell.com
Description : Fun DM, Single, and Coop level. Basically
a recompile of the earlier Shaft level under
qbsp 29. Interestingly enough, either the
compiler changed the file, or the registered
Quake has changed: It used to be that
player_start telefragged the shamblers. After
compiling that happened too - but player_start
moved halfway up the shaft, and in the water.
So for this version here, I deleted the shamblers.
For those of you who didn't play the first
version, this is meaningless, I realize.
Here's a deathmatch hint to one-up your opponent:
shoot the catwalks. Some will strand him on
a shelf for a while, others will slide out from
under his feet and drop him to the depths below!)
Additional Credits to : Dave Langeliers, author of MBuild
Scott Mitting, author of UNWAD2
Without both of their support, this level would
not have been possible.
The cool folks at id software.
Dave Pirofalo, Todd Fikes, and Tony Pinkham, for
endless hours of deathmatching (to uh, test it) :-)
